First of all, you can gather some sand and shells from the beach. We recommend choosing some special seashells that can show its uniqueness.
After gathering the sand and seashells, you can start to make an umbrella for an extra decoration inside the bottle.
DIY an umbrella by using a piece of colour paper and a coaster or a bottom of a tumbler, trace a circle onto the colour paper. Cut it out according to the trace and fold it in half. Unfold the circle and then fold it in half again. Continue folding the circle in half until it has total of 8 creases
Cut a slit down one of the creases and stop when you get to the center of the circle.Overlap the two new edges you have just created to form an umbrella shape.
Add a little piece of tape to the underside to hold the shape in place. Poke a long toothpick through the top of the umbrella and you have done the part of the umbrella.
And now your job is to open the transparent bottle and stick the umbrella on top of the bottle to make sure that the umbrella would not move around.
Pour some sand into the bottle and put some shells above the sand. Make sure that you have put enough shells in it.You can add some words on the shells if you want before you put into the bottle.
Lastly, you can close the bottle and use a ribbon to decorate it.
And Taadaa, your product was done and it suits your prom theme now.
